As Owner and President of Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc., Pat has been actively involved in the commercial real estate industry in the Twin Cities for over 30 years. She formed Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc. in 1990 at a time when there were very few women who owned commercial real estate companies in the Twin Cities. Her firm focuses on providing landlord representation, property management, tenant representation and consulting services.
Pat has focused on the built environment for years and it’s role in improving health, wellness and sustainability. Pat and her team enjoy the challenges of working with historic properties, redeveloping and repositioning them into successful modern office environments while honoring the architecture and history of the original buildings. Redevelopment projects include The 428, a former Woolworth’s retail store, 81 On Seventh, a former furniture store and The Golden Rule Building, formerly one of the most iconic department stores in the Twin Cities.

Sherry Hastings serves as Senior Vice President at Commercial Real Estate Services, Inc., where she oversees strategic planning, asset management, leasing, property repositioning, capital improvement initiatives, construction oversight, tenant relations, and marketing strategies for a diverse portfolio of commercial properties throughout the Twin Cities metropolitan area. She also advises ownership on leasing strategy, tenant retention, property enhancements, and long-term asset performance.
With nearly three decades of commercial real estate experience, Sherry is passionate about creating high-performing workplaces that enhance tenant experience while supporting healthier, more sustainable built environments. Prior to her current role, she spent more than 18 years as Senior Vice President at Frauenshuh Commercial Real Estate, where she led the leasing division and managed a portfolio exceeding 1.8 million square feet.
Sherry has been recognized for her dedication to both her profession and her community, including:
• Coalition for Plastic Reduction MN: Partner and Advocate, collaborating with legislators, environmental organizations, public health leaders, and community stakeholders to advance policies that protect human health and the environment.
• Clean Water Action and the MN Zero Waste Coalition: Collaborates with both organizations to support environmental health, sustainability, waste reduction, and healthier communities.
• Women’s Environmental Institute (WEI): Former Board Member, supporting environmental health, sustainability, and community engagement initiatives.
• White Bear Area Neighborhood Concerned Citizens Group (NCCG): Co-Founder, Former Board Chair and President, leading a grassroots organization that worked with community members, public agencies, and legislators to advance environmental remediation, public health protections, and passage of the White Bear Area Neighborhood Concerned Citizens Group Ban TCE Act, making Minnesota the first state in the nation to ban trichloroethylene (TCE).
• Minnesota Girls Are Not For Sale Super Bowl LII Anti-Trafficking Task Force: Volunteer, partnering with the Women’s Foundation of Minnesota to help combat human trafficking during Super Bowl LII.
